Where do I start?
Pick up the phone or email me for a preliminary discussion
about you and your business. If it looks like I can help you, and
your business is located within the Sunraysia area, I can come to you
for further discussion, to get to know your business better and to get a
feel on the kind of site that will best suit you. For more distant
clients we can make full use of modern communications to gain
information via telephone, email and so on. All aspects of the website
are created in house including graphics, writing and photography, so
this makes it simpler for you in terms of assembling the input required
for your website.
What does it cost?
To set up a simple website of say 3 - 4 pages, (similar to
this one), which thoroughly outlines your business, your products, what
makes it unique; to produce your graphics including backgrounds, logos,
a simple gallery, photo editing, copy writing, a web counter if desired,
and revisions based on your feedback until we agree the site is ready to
upload, the bottom line cost is A$500.00
Web Hosting &
Domain Name registration
Domain name registration is like a license fee which needs
renewing every one or two years. You may already have reserved
your domain name, but if you choose to do it through Mildura Webs the
annual cost is $20 per year. This is the cost from the registrar
that I use, with no additional margin from me.
If you choose to have your web hosted on the server that I use, it
will cost you A$100 per annum. So once the website is up, at
the basis start up cost of A$500, your ongoing annual cost for domain
name license fee plus annual hosting cost, will be A$120.00.
About our
hosting
With my host, you literally do have unlimited space, an
unlimited number of pages and as many email addresses as you like.
Monthly bandwidth is 250 gig, this means your customers will find your
site easy to access with fast download of graphics and photos .
Additional
services and updates
All additional services such as extra galleries,
slide shows and e-commerce can be added to your website at an agreed
upon figure calculated at A$50
per hour. There will be no unpleasant surprises and you will be in
charge of your budget at all times!
